Scarborough Fair （斯卡布羅市集）位於英國北約郡(North Yorkshire, England)，來自英格蘭各地，甚至歐洲大陸的商人，都會聚集在Scarborough進行交易，形成了一個定期市集。
歌曲《Scarborough Fair》早在600年前開始在當地流行，而Simon和Garfunkel在 1966 年令這首歌重生了。後來，它在1967 年被添加到The Graduate的CD中。從那時起，數以百計的音樂家和歌手錄製了這首歌 。 雖然歌曲在00 年前誕生，如今仍然很受歡迎。隨著時間的推移，這首英國民歌加入了很多詩句，現今也最少包括了 13 節的經文。
歌曲《Scarborough Fair》講述了單相思的故事，描述一位年輕男子指示聽者去吩咐他以前的愛人為他完成一系列不可能的任務，例如為他製作一件沒有線縫的襯衫，然後在一座乾涸的井中將其洗滌等等，如果她完成了這些任務，他將與她重歸於好的故事。女方也交給她的愛人一系列同樣不可能的任務，並答應在他結束後將無縫的襯衫交給他。
